Hello NAP Families,
We would like to review the importance of our MyChart patient portal. Over the past several years we have been expanding what you are able to do through the portal and have heard from many of you how nice it is to have this easy access!
Some services offered in the portal:
- Direct scheduling for Well Visits and Acute Care (Sick) Visits
- Printing School/Camp Health Forms – must be done from a desktop/laptop
- Direct Communication to the office / provider for non-urgent issues via Portal Message
- Pre-visit Form Completion saving time at check in
- Medication Refill Requests
- Viewing Test Results
- Virtual Visit Access
When a child turns 13, they will need access to their own patient portal and the parent’s access will convert to a limited account. This is Massachusetts State Law for teen privacy in healthcare. Please strongly encourage your teen to sign up for an account so they can continue accessing the many benefits of the portal.
Moving forward, we will be relying on the portal as our main way to communicate with families. If you are not yet signed up for the portal, or if you are having trouble logging in, please call our office and we will be happy to help.
Finally, with summer fast approaching we know many of you will need camp forms completed. Please get these to us as soon as possible. We will not accept blank forms – we ask that you complete the top section with the patient’s name and demographic information, as well as anything else you are able to fill in, before giving the form to us. We require a 10 day turnaround period for forms in this busy season. Please plan ahead as we cannot guarantee urgent form requests will be accommodated.
We hope you are enjoying the nicer weather and spending lots of time outside!
