Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

My approach to medicine is rooted in the belief that listening and understanding are essential to providing the best care for children and their families. I strive to create a welcoming environment where families feel heard, valued, and involved in their child’s healthcare journey.

Growing up in New York City, I developed a strong sense of community and connection with people from all walks of life.  I worked for a number of years as a public school teacher, before deciding to make a change and earning my Nurse Practitioner degree from Columbia University. After getting married, my wife and I moved to Boise, Idaho, seeking adventure and embracing the outdoors. There, I worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient setting at Idaho’s only children’s hospital, managing a range of childhood illnesses and enjoying the stunning landscapes around me. These experiences deepened my appreciation for health and well-being, and I realized how vital family support is for children.

When my two young children were born, my family and I decided to return to the Northeast to be closer to our relatives. This move has allowed me to reconnect with my roots while continuing my passion for pediatric care. I understand firsthand how important it is for families to have access to compassionate and understanding healthcare providers, especially during challenging times.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including many families from refugee backgrounds. I prioritize empathy in my practice, knowing that each child’s situation is unique. By taking the time to listen to families’ concerns and perspectives, I can tailor my care to meet their individual needs.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, as well as practicing origami and charcoal drawing—a hobby that brings me joy and relaxation. My family and I love spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, and exploring the natural beauty of Massachusetts together.

Ultimately, my goal as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is to ensure that every child feels supported and understood. I’m dedicated to building trusting relationships with families, empowering them to be active participants in their child’s health and well-being.
